’Twas the Night Before Release Day...

We’re almost there!!! Tomorrow’s the big day when Remedial Rocket Science goes live in the Kindle store! Wow. I don’t think I’m going to be sleeping much tonight. It’s taken me over fifteen years and four abandoned manuscripts to get here, but I can finally check “Write and publish a novel” off my life goals list.

Eight months ago, when I decided self-publishing was the way to go, I started a to-do list counting down to release day. As I researched indie publishing and worked on my marketing strategy, I added action items to each month leading up to this one. Now, there's only one thing left on my pre-launch to-do list: write this post.

There are so many people who’ve helped make this moment possible. A lot of them are mentioned in the acknowledgements of the book, but there are others—far too many to name—who’ve encouraged me over the years in small but important ways. You’ve all played a part in making this moment happen, and you have my eternal gratitude.
