Who's excited to read this holiday romance? I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a best friends-to-lovers book, because it's one of my favorite tropes. The story starts in 2010 when the two main characters are in their senior year of high school. I had do some research to remind myself what the world was like ten years ago and to imagine what it must have felt like to graduate from high school that year. A LOT has changed in the last decade, and this book follows Alex and Lucas as they grow into adults, checking in with them every year on Christmas day.
