Until she’s forced to make a devil’s bargain with him: if he distracts her best friend from a mouth-breather ex, Esther will be his science advisor for the sci-fi script he's writing.

But the more time she spends with her nemesis, the more hate turns into attraction—and attraction into something much deeper. As Esther’s carefully-constructed defenses start to crumble, will love be her undoing or her salvation?

Those who've read Remedial Rocket Science will recognize Jonathan as Melody's screenwriter blind date. They'll also recognize the aerospace company Esther works for: Sauer Hewson.  In addition to being smart as hell and addicted to science fiction and horror movies, Esther is a knitter, and you'll get to meet the members of her Monday night knitting group, who'll reappear in the next book in the series.
